Cavan gardaí appeal for witnesses as part of Ballinagh hit and run investigation

Cavan gardaí are appealing for witnesses as part of their investigation into a hit and run road traffic collision which occurred in Ballinagh.

Cavan Roads Policing Unit are continuing to investigate the incident which occurred on Main Street, Ballinagh on Friday, February 11 at approximately 5:30pm.

Longford car dealer, wife and brother charged with alleged PUP fraud

A Longford car dealer who is subject to a €4.9m tax judgement has been charged together with his wife and brother of multiple counts of alleged Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) fraud.

 

The driver of one vehicle left the scene before the arrival of the Gardai.

The investigation is continuing and gardaí say that they would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter thus far.
