The new BMW X2 set to launch in Ireland in March.
The anticipated new BMW X2 is the newest is car in the BMW range. The starting price is €43,960 for a BMW X2 sDrive18d SE.
There will be four different trims available to purchase the SE, Sport, M Sport and M Sport X.
The new BMW is eight centimetres shorter then the X1 and it is seven centimetres lower to the ground however they have the same wheelbase. The X2 will adopt the X1 design language.
The diesel varient for the BMW X2 xDrive20d will be made available at the launch. It will generate a maxium output of 190hp and 400Nm of torque enabling a zero to 100km/h time of 7.7 second. The offical fuel consumption is 4.8l/100km, while the CO2 emissions are 124g/km in the base trim.
The engine range will be expanded after the launch to add three new engines the sDrive18d, xDrive18d and sDrive20i.
The car comes in many different colours but the brand new colours for the car are Galvanic Gold and Misano Blue plus perforated Dakota leather in Magma red.
The interior of the car highlights the new drivers display and black panelling. The BMW X2 is everyday practical with a boot offering 470 litre capacity.
