Wheel stolen from car in Dundalk Tesco car park

A customer at the Tesco Extra store in Dundalk had a shopping trip to forget on Friday when, as they returned to their car, they discovered that someone had stolen the rear left handside wheel from their vehicle.

The car owner explained what happened.

"The wheel was stolen yesterday (Friday) from Tesco Extra between 11:30am and 12:45pm. The car was parked in the underneath parking in the middle rows."

The theft has been reported to both the gardai and Tesco directly.

A Tesco spokesperson said: "The Gardai are investigating the incident and we're cooperating fully with their investigation."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Dundalk garda station.
