Longford boxer Tom Stokes, who is a three times All-Ireland Ireland youths champion, will now travel to Budva, Montenegro as a guest of the IBA with a selection of 12 other boxers from Ireland. Tom has trained very hard for these championships and the honour to represent his country.

In 2023 Tom won at youth 2 at 86kg in the U-18 grade. In January this year he claimed the 86kgs title. Later in the year he moved up to 92kg and also won the heavyweight title which is a great accomplishment as he only started training 18 months ago.
