Michael Nevin, a member of the Olympic Boxing Club in Galway, was over in Denmark last weekend to compete in an International tournament.
14-year-old Michael, who lives in Tarmonbarry, boxed a two-time European youths champion in the final of his division but lost out to a dubious 2-1 split decision in coming home with a silver medal.
