Supermac's Longford will host a fundraising event in aid of Longford Swimming Club on Sunday, March 31 - Mother's Day.

The event will take the form of a family funday which consists of face painting, spin the wheel, free giveaways and music. The activities will begin in Supermac's, Main Street, Longford between 1 and 5pm.

Longford Swimming Club has been providing young swimmers in the area with a high standard of swimming coaching for many years. It was re-formed in 1992 and since then has even further developed its vision and objectives.

Supermac's is Ireland's largest indigenous quick service restaurant chain. The franchise currently has over 116 outlets. Supermac's also operates the Papa John's Pizza brand and SuperSubs which provide Supermac's customers with additional healthy options.

The latest store to open was Supermac's Birr with a number of others planned throughout the year.
