Following the previous 3 years, Cian’s run has raised over €70,000 for Longford Hospice centre which aids them to do the great work that they do.
The registration fee is €20 to participate, with tickets scanned on the day, according to the run’s Facebook post.
A raffle, a BBQ and music are included on the day. There are to be 30 spot prizes that are donated from local businesses. The organisers invite participants and spectators to come out to Dromard GAA for the day with a good atmosphere. There are individuals at all locations for donations and raffle tickets, even for those who are just passing by.
For a good cause and to honour Cian’s memory, the Cian Gray Memorial Run has had years of great support, but would benefit from more people getting involved to donate. Everybody is welcome to come.
Alternatively, they have online methods through Eventbrite which can be found via a link on the Facebook/Instagram pages, where it will give the option to buy an entry ticket or donate. Once clicking ‘get tickets’, it will give the option.
