A sign of the times in Longford as McKeon Tyres celebrate First Stop anniversary

A family-run garage in Longford has marked its one-year anniversary as a First Stop partner with the installation of striking new signage to the tune of €7,000 - and the results are already turning heads.

McKeon Tyres, a trusted name in the Longford community for nearly 20 years, is celebrating 12 successful months with First Stop by unveiling bold new branding at its site, in a visual statement that’s already driving greater visibility, increased customer traffic and a renewed sense of momentum.

The business, run by the McKeon family, has long been known for its personal approach and tailored service for its customers. But according to branch manager Erin Duffy, the move to First Stop has added a premium layer to everything they do.

“The signage has been a gamechanger for us,” Erin said. “It’s elevated our presence and it has coincided with more traffic on the forecourt. You can see the First Stop branding clearly from the road and it’s sparked more conversations with new customers. Just from speaking with people coming in, it’s clear that it’s made a big difference.”
