ALERT: Popular sports store recalls baby swim product due to drowning risk

A popular sports store is carrying out a recall of a children's swim product due to a major safety concern.

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), Decathlon is recalling the Nabaiji Baby Lying Ring due to a possibility of the buoy overturning.

As the child is tied to the product, their head could remain underwater causing them to drown.

The product's model numbers are 8752138, 8752140, 8752139, with bar codes 3583787258873, 3583787258972, 3583787182925.

There are approximately 106 affected products in Ireland.

These products were placed on the Irish market and sold between 01 February 2023 to 23 June 2023.

If you have purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.

Customers can return their product to their nearest Decathlon Store for a full refund.
