A large crowd braved the elements on Saturday evening December 10 to attend a Christmas concert and carol service in St Mary's church, Legga.
The evening featured festive songs, Irish melodies and other favourites, performed by Maria Matthews (soprano), Derek Mahady (accompanist), and Noel Carberry (uilleann pipes). READ MORE BELOW PHOTO
The proceeds will go towards the day to day running costs of the Latin School Community Centre.
The bills have to be paid, light, heat, insurance etc. and all funds from the night will help keep the doors open in our community centre.
The Latin School committee would like to thank Fr Pat Lennon for the use of the church, all who attended, sent donations, contributed to the hampers, and helped decorate the church.
The committee thank most sincerely Maria, Derek and Noel whose performances on the night were truly magical.
