Surface dressing works are scheduled to take place Thursday, July 4, on the R393 Longford to Ardagh Road.
Works will take place between 8am and 7pm, though the road will remain open with a stop/go traffic management system in place, guided by a convoy vehicle.
Motorists have been warned they may experience some delays.
