As part of Autism Awareness Week 2019, which runs until Sunday, April 7, the Longford Leader is posting the thrilling Super Potato series, written by Gaelscoil Longfoirt pupil Jamie O'Neill. Jamie is 10 years old and is on the spectrum and we must say, he's an excellent storyteller.

After Super Jonesy threw Mr Egg out the window a man caught him and put him in a pot of radioactive water.

He then hatched and turned into a giant chicken.

He went to the city and cut the power supply.

Super Potato noticed and tried to defeat him.

It didn't work so Super Potato tried to call Super Jonesy but the power was out so he couldn't call him. So he flew to him.

He told Super Jonesy that a giant chicken is destroying the city.

So they came and tried to destroy him but then he made all the chickens in the world evil and they tried to attack them.

They didn't have enough power to destroy him so they asked Mr Broccoli if he could help and he agreed, only because if the giant chicken destroys them he can't.

So they got the broccoli launcher that shoots broccoli and they shot it at him and he didn't like broccoli. He ran away and then he tripped and fell into a volcano.

Then Mr Broccoli went back to his evil lair.

The end.
