As part of Autism Awareness Week 2019, which runs until Sunday, April 7, the Longford Leader is posting the thrilling Super Potato series, written by Gaelscoil Longfoirt pupil Jamie O'Neill. Jamie is 10 years old and is on the spectrum and we must say, he's an excellent storyteller.
Super Potato was in the city looking for any crime.
Mr Broccoli was in his secret lair and he dropped a nuke.
Super Potato and his sidekick Mr Super Carrot saw the nuke. Then they flew up to the nuke.
They tried to push it away from the city and they pushed it into water. The city was saved.
But then Mr Broccoli came and started shooting everyone with his broccoli blaster and turning them into broccoli.
Then Super Potato used his special power and made it rain potatoes.
One of the potatoes landed on Mr broccoli's head and knocked him out.
Then Super Potato got the broccoli blaster and turned everyone back to normal.
