The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 of John Brendan Ward (Happy), Lanesboro, Co Longford and formerly Lucan, Co Dublin.
Brendan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters, Lorraine and Tonette, son Mark, grandchildren Jordan, Leon, Dylan, Dwayne, Courtney, Sophie, Renee, great grandchildren Hayden and Elijah, sisters Maura, Theresa, Loretta, Harriette and brother Martin, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Farrell's Funeral Home, Lanesboro (N39 E761) on Saturday, March 19 from 11am to 12.30pm. Removal to St Mary's Church, Lanesboro, for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Clonbonny Cemetery.

The death occurred, quietly & without fuss, while in the exceptional loving & compassionate care of the entire management & staff of Cairnhill Nursing Home, Herbert Road, Bray, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 of Matthew (Matt) Sexton of Sidmonton Avenue, Bray, Co Wicklow, formerly Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford & The Strand Hotel, Bray, Co Wicklow.
Beloved husband of the late Aideen (née McHenry), & brother of the late Francie. The death occurred, peacefully, at home, in his 89th year, in the devoted care of his family following many illnesses borne with quiet acceptance, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 of John Lennon, BE, MIEI, 10 Earlsvale Road, Cavan, former Ballinagh Area Engineer, Cavan County Council.
Predeceased by his parents James and Helen, Lisameen, Moatfarrell, Co Longford, his brothers Jim and Eugene and his nephew Jimmy (New Jersey). John will be greatly missed and forever remembered with love by his wife Anne, daughter Elaine, son Gavin (Lynne) his cherished granddaughter Grace and grandson Jake, his brother Enda (New Jersey), sisters Veronica Lennon (London) and Anne King (Dublin) : nieces, nephews, sisters- in- law Irene and Bernadette, the extended Murray family, former colleagues in Cavan County Council, Irish Land Commission, Longford County Council, the Crown Service, Maiduguri, Nigeria, many friends, good neighbours, devoted carers and his former golf 'buddies.' The death occurred, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 of Mary (Mae) McGuinness (nee Egan), Clonmore, Tarmonbarry, Co Roscommon.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas (Tommie), sisters and brothers. Very dear mother of Celine, Brendan and Tom, grandmother of Lisa, Grainne, David, Barry, Kate and Shane and great-grandmother of Aidan, Finn and Tommy. Deeply regretted by her daughter-in-law Joan, son-in-law Tom, Brendan's partner Ewa, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.

The death occurred, at Kettering General Hospital after many years of ill health, on Friday, February 25, 2022 of Bridget Rose (Bridie) Norton, formerly Ballinamuck, Co Longford, aged 83 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Eamonn, her sister Philomena, Gerard and all the family in Ireland and friends.
