Ita Farrell (née O'Connor), Longford Town, Longford / Peterswell, Galway
The death occurred on Monday, February 12 of Ita Farrell (nee O'Connor), Longford town, Longford and formerly of Peterswell, Co Galway, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Wife of the late Anthony (Tony) (Farrell Bros, Killashee Street) and mother of the late Mary (Brennan). Ita will be sadly missed by her loving family, Aiden, John and Anne (Kielty), sons in law Eamon and Gerry, daughter in law Brigid, grandchildren Niall, Conor, Robert, Ruth and Paul, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her residence on Wednesday, February 14 from 11am until 4pm followed by removal to St Mel’s Cathedral, arriving at 6pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, February 15 at 11am. Interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family flowers only please; donations if desired to Longford Palliative Care c/o Glennon Funeral Directors or any family member.
John Henry Grier, Drumgildra, Mohill, Leitrim / Gortletteragh, Leitrim
The death occurred on Monday, January 29 of John Henry Grier, Shepherds Bush, London and formerly of Drumgildra, Mohill, Co Leitrim, peacefully at Paddington Hospital, London following a short illness.
Predeceased by his brother Tommy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers; Fr. Matt, James, Bernie and Charlie, sisters; Mary Ellen, Elizabeth, Rose, Bernadette and Kathleen, aunt, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he Rest in Peace.
Remains reposing at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford on Thursday, February 15 from 4pm - 6pm followed by removal to arrive at St Mary's Church, Gortletteragh for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, February 16 at 11am with burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
