The death occurred, at Letterkenny University Hospital, on Wednesday, January 24, of Danny O'Brien, Clonbeg, Buncrana, Donegal / Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by his daughter Miriam. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Isabel and children Diarmuid, Michael, Margaret, Shane, Danielle, Jennifer, Susan and Emmet, sisters, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and his wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his family home from 11am to 10pm, on Thursday, January 25 and Friday, January 26. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Cockhill on Saturday, January 27 at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family Flowers only. Donations, if any desired to the patients Comfort Fund, Letterkenny University Hospital C/o any family member. House strictly private on Saturday morning.
Dympna Reilly, Kilsarn, Loughduff, Cavan / Redhills, Cavan / Dublin 4, Dublin
The death occurred, suddenly, on Wednesday, January 24, of Dympna Reilly Junior, Pembroke Road, Dublin; Killyfana, Redhills, Co Cavan and formerly Kilsarn, Loughduff, Co Cavan. Predeceased by her father Micheál. Darling daughter of Dympna, cherished sister of Sheila, Rosaleen and William. Deeply missed by her family, her boyfriend Barry, Dympna Senior's partner Barry, her nephew Cillian, goddaughter and niece Rhona, brothers-in-law Ross and Jim, William's partner Joyce, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Innis Ree Lodge, Ballyleague, on Thursday, January 25, of Maureen McAteer (née Gavigan), 'St Michael's', Ballyleague, Lanesboro, Roscommon. Beloved wife of the late Brian. She will be very sadly missed by her daughter Catherine, sons Denis and Donal, sister Sr. Kathleen, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Friday evening, January 26 from 5.30pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning, January 27 to the Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery.
Patsy Owens, Kilmore, Streete, Westmeath / Longford
The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of St Camillus nursing home, Killucan, Co Westmeath, on Wednesday, January 24, of Patsy Owens, Kilmore, Streete, Westmeath. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, sons Patrick and Hughie, brother Seamus, sisters Mary and Ann, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his home on Thursday, January 25 from 3pm until 7pm. Mass of the resurrection on Friday, January 26 at 12 noon in St Mary's church, Boherquill followed by burial in St Fintan's cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Westmeath Palliative Care.

The death occurred, peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe after a short illness, on Tuesday January 23 of Betty Eager (née Hayes), formerly of Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim and originally from Ballinakill, Loughrea. Predeceased by her husband Robin. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter Susan, son Colin, daughter-in-law Shy, son-in-law Ian, grandson Robin, sisters Mary and Phil, brothers Liam and Sean, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at St Mary's Funeral Home, Woodford on Thursday, January 25 from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Private cremation to follow. Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 27 at 12 noon in St Joseph's Church, Ballinakill followed by interment of ashes in Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers only by request.
