The death occurred peacefully in The Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar on Friday, December 19, 2025 of Barry Robbins, Gurteen, Ballymahon, Longford. Born in Saint Paul's, Cray, Kent and formerly Greenwich, London. 

Delia Kiernan (née Reilly), Aughnacliffe, Longford

The death occurred peacefully at her home, surrounded by her heartbroken family following an illness on Monday, December 1, 2025 of Delia Kiernan (née Reilly), Sundon Park, Luton England and Molly, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford.

Predeceased by her precious daughter Yvonne, her parents Dan and Rose, her sister Rose Cooley, brothers Pat, Danny, Johnny, and Tommy.

She is very dearly missed and fondly remembered by her husband and best friend, Oliver, her daughter Emma and sons Gordon and Gavin. Her precious grandchildren Conor, Brogan, Ben, Joe, Harvey, Freya, Finley and Sonni. Her son in law Darren, daughters in law Clare and Em. Her sister Maureen Jones (Bob), London, her brother Barney (Roisin.) Dernavogy and sister in law, Breda Reilly, Molly, along with nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives, and her many great friends.

Delias funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Apostle Church, Sundon Park, Luton on Tuesday, December 23 at 11.30am. Followed by a cremation service at The Vale crematorium at 1pm.

Sinead Reilly (née Smith), Cortober, Loch Gowna, Cavan / Crossdoney, Cavan

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital on Saturday, December 20, 2025 of Sinead Reilly (née Smith), Cortober, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Farnadolly, Crossdoney, Co Cavan. 

Predeceased by her baby daughter Martha. Beloved wife of Darragh and devoted mother of Ronna, Hannah and Noah. Sinead will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters and son, her parents Philip and Ann, brothers Andrew (Caroline) and Aodhagán (Emma), sisters Ailish (Niall), Áine (Damien), Orla (Liam), Niamh (Seán) and Aisling (Kieran), parents-in-law John and Christine, aunts, uncles, grand-aunts, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Monday evening, December 22 from 5pm until 9pm, with a break from 7pm until 7.20pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, December 23 at 1pm in the Church of the Holy Family, Loch Gowna, followed by interment in the adjoining new cemetery. Family homes private at all times, please.

Muriel Jean Abbott, Springfield House, Mohill, Leitrim

The death occurred suddenly but peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 20, 2025 of Muriel Jean Abbott, Springfield House, Mohill, Co Leitrim. 

Beloved youngest daughter of the late John and Rita. Dearly loved sister of Joan (Regan), Vera (Fleming), Aideen (Huston) and brother Ivan. Muriel will be missed by her much loved nieces and nephews - Emma, Robin, Rebecca, Jennifer, Richard, Hazel and Louise, her brothers-in-law - Noel, William and Ivan, her adored grandnieces and grandnephews, her cousins, and many friends and work colleagues in SuperValu, Longford.

Muriel will repose in St Mary's Parish Church, Mohill on Monday, December 22 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 23 at 1pm in St Mary's Church followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Milly McNally (née McGuinness), Dromod, Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Rush Nursing Home, Rush, Co Dublin on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 of Milly McNally (née McGuinness) Dromod, Co Leitrim and late of Tulrusk and Drumboy, Mohill, Co Leitrim, retired N.T.

Predeceased by her husband Jack, son Padraig (Patrick) and son-in-law Roger Garbett. Loving mother of Maura, Anne (Garbett) and John and grandmother to Niall and Conor. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family, daughters-in-law, Catherine and Rebecca, brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Colette McGuinness, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence (Main Street, Dromod) on Sunday, December 21 from 1pm until 6pm. House private thereafter. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, December 22 at 1pm at St Mary's Church, Annaduff (N41 CF54). Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers please.

Nora Conway (née Smith), Blackrock, Dublin / Kilcogy, Cavan

The death occurred unexpectedly after a short illness at St. Vincent’s University Hospital Wednesday, December 17, 2025 of Nora Conway (née Smith), Blackrock, Dublin and formerly Kilcogy, Cavan.  She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Martin.

Nora will be deeply loved and sadly missed by her devoted children Fergus, Máire, Barbara, Eileen and Aedeen, sons-in-law and partners Frank, Paul and Denver, her treasured grandchildren Cian, Niall, Ben, Hazel, Nienke, Bryan, Cara and Susanna, her brothers Jimmy, Tony and Oliver, sisters Phyllis and Helen, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and her many dear friends. May Nora Rest in Peace.

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of her family and staff of Thomond Lodge Nursing Home, Ballymahon in her 92nd year on Thursday, December 18, 2025 of Harriet Cox (nee Walshe) Church View House, Kilglass, Roscommon/ Strokestown, Roscommon.

The death occurred peacefully in her 94th year in the loving care of the staff of Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 18, 2025 of Pauline Compton (nee Fallon) Newtown, Strokestown, Roscommon.

Beloved wife of the late Pat and much loved mother of Joe, Kieran, Oliver and Patricia. The death occurred peacefully but unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 of Mark Haren (Harener), Rooskey, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Clonshaugh, Dublin.

Beloved fiancé of Karen and loving father of Lauren and Leah. Predeceased by his cherished mother Sheila. Very sadly missed by his partner and daughters, dad Tony, brothers Karl and Tony and sister Corienne, nieces Jessica, Keira and Kaelyn, nephews Karl and Kian, extended family, friends and neighbours. The death occurred peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2025 of Carol Howarth (nee McCall) 22 River Meadow, Dromod, Leitrim, N41TX46.

Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob). Sadly missed by her brother Harry and sister in law Catherine, nephews David, Neil, Hugh and John and their families. Also missed by Robert's brothers and the Howarth family. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her residence from 10am until 12 noon on Monday, December 22. Funeral service will take place afterwards at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3pm.

Joan Nea, Castlepollard, Westmeath

The death occurred at home, surrounded by her loving and heartbroken family after battling a long illness on Thursday, December 11, 2025 of Joan Nea, Basildon, Essex, England and formerly of Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath, aged 82.

Predeceased by her husband Martin. Sadly missed by her loving children Pauline, Stephen and Tina, her adored grandchildren Nichola, Melissa, Martha, Siobhan and Kieran, great-grandchildren Leonyedus, Eoin, Patrick and Ahreay, daughter-in-law Lorraine, son-in-law Paul, Nichola's partner Tony, Melissa's partner Leon, Martha's husband Noel; brother David and his family in Australia; and a wide circle of friends.
