The death occurred peacefully in Mullingar Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 14, 2024 of Jane Amooty (nee D'Arcy) Ballagh, Newtownforbes, Longford and formerly of Creggan, Ferbane, Co Offaly. Predeceased by her parents, sister Josephine and brother Tom. Jane will be sadly missed and always remembered by her family, her dear husband Seameen (Jimmy), son Karole, daughters Denise and Michelle, sons-in-law Simon and Norman, daughter-in-law Heidy, her adored grandchildren and great- grandchildren Chad, Shaka, Michael, Brian, Christopher, Jacob, Emily, Lily, Amy, Noah and Cohen, brother Kieran (Creggan), sisters Mary (London), Bridie (Cloonrallagh), and Patty (Ferbane), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and dear friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.
Jane will repose in her home on Tuesday, April 16 from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday, April 17 to arrive to St Mary's Church, Newtownforbes for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, Jane will be laid to rest in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please, donation if desired to the Irish Cancer Society c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the nurses and staff at Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill on Monday, April 15, 2024 of Rosanna Paley (née Cowan) Derryharrow, Melview, Longford and formerly St. Patrick’s Square, Bray, Co Wicklow. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, infant daughter Hilda, sisters Ellen and Mary, brothers Tommy, Frankie, Bernard, Freddie, Jimmy and Edward. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving daughters Nuala (Sligo), Adrienne (Longford), Margaret (Greystones), sons-in-law Ger, Patrick and Alaistair, grandchildren Emilee, Holly, Therese, Marisa, Patrick and Alexandra, great- grandchildren Remy, Sofia and Isabel, sister Kathleen (U.S.A), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Lough Erril Oratory, Mohill on Wednesday evening, April 17 from 5.30pm until 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 18 at 11am in Lough Erril Oratory with burial afterwards in Springfield Cemetery, Bray, Co Wicklow at 3pm.

The death occurred peacefully at the Galway Clinic, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 15, 2024 of Mary E. McGuire, Attymanus, Corbally, Limerick and formerly of Attymanus, Mohill, Co Leitrim. Late of Denis Moran’s and Mary McGuire’s, Parnell Street. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Catherine (McDermott), Patricia (Mearley) and Bernadette (Boylan), brothers-in-law Peter and Bert, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, godchildren, her many good friends and neighbours. It is with great sadness that the Noonan family announce the unexpected but peaceful death of Liam Noonan, husband of Vonnie and father of Séamus, Martin, Maria, Róisín and Noelle on Friday, April 12, 2024, two days before his 89th birthday. Remembered with love by his sons in law John, Ian and Damon and daughters in law Mary and Sandra. He is predeceased by his parents James and Teresa, brothers Sean and Seamus and his sisters Teresa and Rita. Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Patty (Kilmore) and brother Micheal (New York), cherished grandchildren Diarmuid, Dearbhla, Rachel, James, Euan, Amelie and Connor, extended family at home and abroad and his neighbours and friends.
Removal from his residence to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rooskey (N41EH72) for 7pm on Tuesday, April 16.
