The death occurred on Sunday, March 3, 2024 of Danny O'Brien, Carrickboy, Longford and late of Durrow, Co Offaly. Predeceased by his sisters Ailish and Sr Mary Francis and his brother Rodge. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mae, his daughters Annie and Niamh Ward (Moydow) and his son Donal (Cornwall), his sisters Clare Hurley (Tipperary), Peggy Twomey (Cork), Sr. Xavier (Tullamore), Julia Carroll (Dublin) and Annie Clavin (Kilbeggan), his brothers Noel (Ballingar) and Michael (Dublin), nieces and nephews, grandchild Sean, daughter-in-law Fran and son-in-law Alan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, neighbours, relatives and friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Nursing Home Chapel, Edgeworthstown, on Tuesday, March 5 from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday, March 6 from his home to St Mary's Church, Legan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Carrickedmond Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Bridget (Delia) Higgins (née Kiernan) Aughawillen, Carrigallen, Leitrim / Moyne, Longford

The death occurred peacefully at her residence in the care of her loving family in her 98th year on Sunday, March 3, 2024 of Bridget (Delia) Higgins (nee Kiernan), Aughawillen, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim and formerly of Ballyduffy, Moyne, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents, sisters and brothers, infant daughter Bernadette, husband James, son Jim, daughter Mary Bannon and daughter in law Mary Higgins and great-grandson Daniel. Delia will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Patricia Ward and Angela Mulligan, sons in law Charlie Ward, Frank Mulligan and Hugh Bannon, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, wonderful neighbours and carers and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan H12RF78 on Monday, March 4 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal afterwards to her residence for close family, neighbours and friends. The death occurred peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 1, 2024 of Patrick Joseph Dooner, Listea Cottage, Aughaboy, Killoe, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Alice. Patrick will be forever missed and always remembered with love by his family, his wife Janine, sons Ian and Nathan, daughter-in-law Jessica, his adored grandchildren Lilly, Effy, Phoebe and Connor, his brothers and sisters Brian, Michael, John, David, Mark, Vivien, Trica and Linda, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends. The death occurred, peacefully in the loving care of Fern Dean Nursing Home surrounded by her family, on Sunday, March 3, 2024 of Teresa Hearty (née Donohue), Cabinteely, Dublin / Stillorgan, Dublin / Scramogue, Roscommon. Special thanks to all the staff where she received great care for the past two years. Teresa was predeceased by her darling daughter Adele, brothers Fred, Joey and sister Mary Elizabeth. Beloved wife of Con. Predeceased by his parents Ned and Kitty. Predeceased by his brothers Canon Patrick PP, Michael and James, sisters Annie, Clare, Elizabeth and Madge. Beloved husband of Brigid and loving father of Padraig, Michael, Siobhan and Breda.
