The death occurred, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family after a short illness, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 of Jimmy Donoghue (O'Donoghue), Main Street, Granard, Longford (formerly of Donoghue’s Hardware Granard). Predeceased by his wife Sheila (2017), son Joe (1992), son John (2018) and sister Elizabeth (2009).
Jimmy will be forever missed by his son Seamus, daughter in law Kate, his adored grandchildren James, Tadhg and Emma, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives and his many friends including those from the community of his beloved Granard. May He Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Smith’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Granard (N39AX97) from 4pm on Friday, February 2. Prayers at 6.30pm followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Granard arriving at 7.20pm (Friday Mass at 7.30pm). Funeral mass on Saturday, February 3 at 12 noon followed by Christian burial in Granardkill Cemetery.

The death occurred suddenly, at her residence in Burnham on Crouch, Essex on Sunday, January 28, 2024 of Berna Casey, Burnham on Crouch, Essex and late of Kenagh, Co Longford. Predeceased by her beloved partner, Pat, her loving parents Frank and Lil, her sister Teresa and infant brother Edward.

Reposing at his brother PJ's residence, Ballinaskea (A83Y303) on Friday, February 2 from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday, February 3 to the Church of the Assumption, Jordanstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 of Mary McGee (née Gray), Edenmore, Ballinamuck, Longford. Predeceased by her parents, her husband John, sisters Bridgie, Nellie and Martha, granddaughters Gemma and Martina and by her great-grandson Luke. My wife Lynda (Martha) was from a large wonderful family (Bystram) too extensive to name here, they all loved her dearly and will miss her as long as they live on. Sadly missed by her husband, Robert (Bob) and her two children, Stephen (Alfie), and Hannah. Seven grandchildren, Joseph, Luca, Finn, Taeya, Sunee, Felix and Laila.
