The death occurred, peacefully at the Regional Hospital, Mullingar and previously in the loving care of the Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, on Friday, December 22, 2023 of Michael Rodgers, Aughnacliffe, Longford / Dring, Longford / Balbriggan, Dublin.  
Predeceased by his parents John and Julia and twin brother Peter at birth. Deeply regretted by his family, and his sister Josephine (Athlone), McKeon Family, Sheila, Violet, Kathleen and Teresa (Molly, Aughnacliffe), relatives, neighbours and friends. May Michael Rest in Peace.
Reposing at The Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel, Longford Eircode N39XE92 on Tuesday, December 26 at 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, December 27 at 11am in St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe with burial afterwards in Mullinalaghta Cemetery.

Rosita Mulvihill (née Martin), Taghshinny, Colehill, Longford, N39 WR65

The death occurred, peacefully in Mullingar Regional Hospital in her 82nd year, on Friday, December 22, 2023 of Rosita Mulvihill (née Martin), Taghshinny, Colehill, Longford, N39 WR65. Predeceased by her husband Sean and her baby Michael, also her sister Collette. Sadly missed by her loving family sons John and Anthony, her daughter Mary, her brothers Seamus, Sean and Tommy. Her Grandchildren Declan, Sinead, Josephine, Peter, Christine, Jane and Colm. Great grandchildren Bobby, Cillian and Oscar, daughters-in-law Denise, Geraldine and Mary's partner David. Sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in her residence (N39 WR65) this Sunday afternoon, December 24 from 2pm until 4pm. House private please thereafter. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, December 26 at 12 noon in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickedmond followed by burial in Abbeyshrule Cemetery.

Charlie Martin, Cartron, Granard, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on Saturday, December 23, 2023 of Charlie Martin, Cartron, Granard, Longford. In keeping with Charlie's wishes a private cremation will take place. House Private Please.

The death occurred peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2023 of Francis Sheridan, Springtown, Abbeylara, Longford / Finea, Cavan. Predeceased by his parents Terence and Marcella (nee McCormack). Francis will be sadly missed by his brother Seamus, his sister-in-law Josephine, his nephew Noel, nieces Ciara, Vivienne and Deirdre, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace.
Reposing in Our Lady’s Manor, Edgeworthstown, on Saturday, December 23 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. James (Jack) Duke, Grian Ard, Longford Town, Longford
The death occurred on Thursday, December 21, 2023 of James (Jack) Duke, Grian Ard, Ardnacassa, Longford. Predeceased by his parents. James will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Rosie, Kathlena and Gloria, sons Leo and Kevin, partner Marie, sister Pauline, brother Bernard, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday, December 28 from 4.30pm until 5.30pm followed by removal to St Mel’s Cathedral arriving for prayers at 6pm. Mary Teresa Corcoran (née McHugh), Slattamore, Rooskey, Roscommon

The death occurred, peacefully in Roscommon University Hospital surrounded by her loving family, after a long and full life, on Friday, December 22, 2023 of Mary Teresa Corcoran (née McHugh), Slattamore, Rooskey, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Roscommon. Predeceased by her husband Alfie and daughter Marcella. Mary Teresa will be sorely missed by her daughter Berni and sons PJ and Pete, daughter-in-law Noreen, sons-in law Joe and Gerry, grandchildren Emma, Claire, Linda, Rachel and Darren and extended family, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace.
Mary Teresa will repose at Leavy’s Funeral Home, Scramogue (F42 FD78) on Tuesday December 26 from 4:30-7pm. Removal to St Anne’s Church, Slatta, arriving for 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, December 27 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Scramogue Cemetery. Home house private please.
