The death occurred peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2023 of P.J. Murphy, Glenmore, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Rose. P.J. will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, brother John (Glenmore), sisters Anna Boyle (Cootehill), Patricia Houlihan (Galway) and Brigid McKeon (Molly), brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Tuesday, October 24 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, October 25 in St Colmcille’s Church, Aughnacliffe at 12.00 noon, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 23, 2023 of Philomena Orohoe (nee McTiernan), Lisduff, Longford town. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary, brother P.J. and by her sister Margaret. The death occurred on Saturday, October 21, 2023 of Patricia (Pat) Boyle (nee Hanley), 74 Teffia Park, Longford town and formerly of Ealing, London and Chapel St, Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband James and dear sisters Mary and Margaret. The death occurred peacefully in her 96th year, at the Regional Hospital, Mullingar on Saturday, October 21, 2023 of Anna May McLoughlin (nee Kelly) Croshea, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. Predeceased by her infant sister Ita, her husband Bernard, her son Ignatius and her baby grandsons Richie and Kevin. Anna will be sadly missed by her sons Mickey and Kevin, her daughter-in-law Ann Marie, Vicky and Eileen, her grandchildren Eilis, Sean, Aine, Finnian, Conor, Eoghan, Kayla, Megan and her great grandson Iggy, her sisters-in-law Martha and Mary and her aunt-in-law Delia Reynolds, her kind neighbours, relatives and friends. The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the devoted care of the staff at Innis Ree Lodge, Ballyleague, Co Roscommon on Saturday, October 21, 2023 of Denis Dunne, Ballyleague, Roscommon and formerly of Killenard, Co Laois. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Noreen, his children Brendan, Siobhán, Gráinne, Gary, Niamh and Fiona, his 16 adored grandchildren, sons-in-law Mark, Michael, William and Ze, daughters-in-law Marian and Róisín, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. The death occurred peacefully after a short illness, courageously fought in The Sharp Memorial Hospital, San Diego on Saturday, October 14, 2023 of Colin Heaney, San Diego, California and Ballinamuck, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his father Tommy Heaney. Colin will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his heartbroken fiancée Jenni and his baby son Cillian, his mother Philomena and stepdad Malachy Scott.
Arrangements are in process to bring Colin home to Ireland.
