The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by her family in the care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Saturday, April 15, 2023 of Bridget Reilly, St Michael's Road, Longford Town, Longford and formerly of 43 Templemichael Terrace. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas, her sons Charlie and John and grandsons Martin and Nathan. Bridget will be sadly missed and always remembered by her family, sons Paddy, Martin, Tom, Anthony, Michael, Bernie and Willie, daughters Mary and Bridget, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, her adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church Street, (N39 P0E8) on Monday, April 17 from 4.30pm followed by removal to St Mel's Cathedral, for prayers 6.30pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday, April 18 at 11am, followed by burial in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live: click here

The death occurred, at his home, peacefully in the loving care of his family, on Friday, April 14, 2023 of Patrick McCormack, Laurel Lodge, Ballymahon, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Julia, brother Thomas (Kenagh), nephew James (Scotland). Beloved husband of Chrissie, dear father to David (Swords), Declan (Terlicken), Padraic (Terlicken), Brian (Loughrea) and Martina (Lanesboro). Much loved Grandad of Jule, Aaron, Zara, Annick, Merlin, Jack, Caoimhe, Lilly and Colm. Pat, sadly missed by his family, daughters in law Adrienne, Lenaik and Catriona, son in law Chris, Brother John (Newtownforbes) and his sister Marie Dalton (Listubbit), sisters in law Gertie, Patsy, Mary and Margaret, Nieces, Nephews, Grandnephews, Grandnieces, Cousins, his dear friends, neighbours, and those from the farming community. Reposing at his home, Terlicken (N39 X662) on Saturday evening, April 15 from 6pm until 9pm and on Sunday, April 16 from 3pm until 7pm. Removal will leave his family home on Monday morning, April 17 at 11.30am for funeral mass at 12 noon in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon, followed by burial in Shrule Cemetery. Philomena Rooney (née McGarry), UK and formerly, Rathowen, Co Westmeath
The death occurred, peacefully at her home in Hazel Grove, Stockport, United Kingdom, on Monday, April 3, 2023 of Philomena Rooney (neé McGarry), daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret McGarry, of Rathowen, Co Westmeath.
Prior to moving to Cheshire, Phil had lived with her late husband, Dr Kevin Rooney, in Leeds, West Yorkshire. She was predeceased by her husband; her two sons, Francis and Eamon Rooney; her brothers, Eamon, Mel, Michael and Patrick McGarry and her sisters, Bernadette O’Donnell, Maureen (Sr Gertrude SJC) and Peggy (Sr Bernadette SJC) McGarry. She is survived by her two children, Clair Gadzama and Brian Rooney; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; her cousins, the reverend Sisters Maura Brid McGarry OLM and Eileen McGarry OLM, of the Convent of Mercy, Longford and her nephews and nieces in Ireland and the USA. Phil lived to 92 years of age and enjoyed a very full life. Generous to a fault, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Peter’s Church, Hazel Grove, Stockport, UK, at 12 noon on Monday, April 24, 2023. The death occurred, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Aperee nursing home, surrounded by family, on Thursday, April 13, 2023 of Heather Percival (nee Tuthill), Clybaun Road, Galway city/ Mohill, Co Leitrim. Beloved daughter of the late Kathleen and George Tuthill. Predeceased by her loving husband Alec and her brother Alan. Deeply missed by her sons John and David, daughter Sandra, brothers Austin, Adrian and David, son-in-law Tony, daughter-in-law Susan, John's partner Trish, grandchildren, cousins, the extended Percival and Tuthill family, and a wide circle of friends.

The recent death has taken place of Patrick McIntyre, at his home in Bromsgrove, England and formerly of Glebe Street, Mohill, Co Leitrim.
