The death occurred, peacefully at University Hospital Galway surrounded by her loving family and friends, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 of Marian McKeown (née Halpenny), Darogue, Ballymahon, Longford. Predeceased by her devoted husband Brendan, her parents Nicholas and Rose and her brother Eugene. Marian will be greatly missed by her loving family; daughter Róisín, sons Brendan and Cillian, brothers Paddy (Australia), Nicholas, Damien, Martin and Kevin and sisters Mairead, Áine, Brid and Bernadette (UK), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and loyal friends. Kathleen Hickey (née Cooney), Richmond Harbour, Clondra, Longford

The death occurred, peacefully, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 of Kathleen Hickey (née Cooney), Richmond Harbour, Clondra, Longford. The death occurred, peacefully surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 of Packie (PJ) O'Neill, Rhyne, Killoe, Co Longford and formerly of Castlebawm, Ballinalee, Co Longford and London, UK.  He is predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. PJ will always be remembered by his family, his beloved wife Mary, daughters Jo and Marion, sons Michael and Seamus, daughter-in-law Susan, sons-in-law Jason and John, sisters Betty and Theresa, his adored grandchildren Kieran, Ashleigh, Danny, JJ and Lisa, great-grandchildren Mia and Joshua, nieces, nephews, his good neighbours and friends here in Longford and in London. The death occurred, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthstown, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 of Loretto Cooney (nee Smyth), Lehery, Lanesboro, Co Longford and formerly of Clonmore, Killashee. Predeceased by her beloved husband Leo, sisters Lil & Molly, brother Billy. Loretto will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Albert, daughters Loretto (Carroll) Reynella, Bracklyn, Mullingar, Edel (O'Brien) Ahascaragh, Galway, daughter in law Carolyn, sons in law Oliver & Tom, grandchildren Gavin, Carol, Edwin, Emma, Katie, Diarmuid, Conor, Niamh and life-long friend and cousin Mary Skelly, relatives, friends and neighbours. Predeceased, by his parents Frank and Anne, brother Noel and sister-in-law Kathleen. The death occurred,  peacefully, in the excellent care of Dr Paddy Breslin and the nurses and staff at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Ballinalee Road, Longford, on Monday, January 16, 2023 of Frances (Frankie) Greene, 17 McKeon Park, Longford town and formerly of Liscahill, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents Francis and Mary, her sisters Betty, Peg and Kitty (USA) and Annie Finnegan (Ballynacarrigy), her brothers Pearse, Paddy, Liam and Tony, her niece Margaret and nephew Frank (USA).

The death occurred, suddenly, on Thursday, January 12, 2023 of Gary Dolan, Bawn, Drumlish, Co Longford. He is predeceased by his father Michael. Aged 91 years. Retired N.T. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Bridget, her husband Paric, infant daughter; Mary, brothers; Sean and Kieran and her sisters; Mary and Sr. Kieran. Michael Patrick Greene, Strokestown, Roscommon

The death occurred, peacefully, in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 of Michael Patrick Greene, of Birmingham, and formerly of Strokestown, Roscommon. Predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Anthony, Tommy, Johnny and sister Mary and wives Kitty and Maureen. Michael deeply regretted and remembered by his sisters Peggy and Nancy and brother-in-law Tom Fisher, and John Orahoe, daughter Pamela, son-in-law Lou sons Kieran and Adrian, daughter-in-laws, Helen and Caroline, grandchildren, Nicholas, Eleanor, Alexis, Talia, Francesca, Marijka, Lorna, Cairstine and Patric.
