The death occurred, peacefully in wonderful care of the exceptional staff in Lisdan Care of the Elderly Unit, Cavan, in the presence of his family, on Sunday, January 8, 2023 of Patrick (Paddy) Masterson, Moyne, Longford. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Rose and by his brother-in-law Danny. Paddy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, sisters Maura Madigan, Alice Donnelly and Nora Nowell, brothers-in-law John and Dave, his much adored nieces and nephews, Rosemarie, Oona, Eimear, Sean, Michael, Sheila, Kevin, Andrew, Daniel and Mark, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family and a large circle of kind neighbours and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at his residence on Monday, January 9 from 2pm until 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, January 10 at 12 noon in St Francis Xavier Church, Moyne. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The mass will be streamed live please go to http://www.dromard.ie/church/

The death occurred, peacefully, in the loving care of the nursing and care staff of Marie Goretti, Cluain Lir, Claire Centre, Old Longford Road, Mullingar, on Saturday, January 7, 2023 of Bridget Farrell, Rathmore, Aughnacliffe, Longford. Predeceased by her loving parents Denis (Denny) and Elizabeth, her sisters Mary and Elizabeth and brother John. Arriving at St Colmcille's Church, for 11am Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 10 and burial in adjoining cemetery afterwards.

The death occurred, peacefully after a short illness , surrounded by her family in the loving care of the nurses and staff of The Midland’s Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Friday, January 6, 2023 of Joan Johnston (née Armstrong), Curreen House, Rathcline, Lanesboro, Longford. Predeceased by her children Brian and Sharon, sister Eileen and by her niece Kathryn.
Joan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, husband David, daughter Jill, sons David, Ronnie, Mervyn and Gareth, daughters-in-law Aoife, Helen, Karen and Anne-Marie, son-in-law Frank, brother Tom, sister Grace, her 15 adored grandchildren, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Michael will be forever missed by his heartbroken family, his beloved wife Mary, sons John, Alan, Kevin and Kieran, daughters Rinoa and Sara, mother-in-law Kathleen, brothers-in-law Gerard, Kieran and Martyn, sister-in-law Deirdre, nephews and nieces Shauna, Darragh, Tara, Darian, Oscar and Harvey, dear cousins, neighbour, good friends and his work colleagues. Predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Anthony, Tommy, Johnny and sister Mary and wives Kitty and Maureen. Michael deeply regretted and remembered by his sisters Peggy and Nancy and brother-in-law Tom Fisher, and John Orahoe, daughter Pamela, son-in-law Lou sons Kieran and Adrian, daughter-in-laws, Helen and Caroline, grandchildren, Nicholas, Eleanor, Alexis, Talia, Francesca, Marijka, Lorna, Cairstine and Patric.
