The death occurred, peacefully after a short illness , surrounded by her family in the loving care of the nurses and staff of The Midland’s Regional Hospital, Mullingar, on Friday, January 6, 2023 of Joan Johnston (née Armstrong), Curreen House, Rathcline, Lanesboro, Longford. Predeceased by her children Brian and Sharon, sister Eileen and by her niece Kathryn.
Joan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, husband David, daughter Jill, sons David, Ronnie, Mervyn and Gareth, daughters-in-law Aoife, Helen, Karen and Anne-Marie, son-in-law Frank, brother Tom, sister Grace, her 15 adored grandchildren, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Resting at Glennon’s Funeral home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday, January 8 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Service on Monday, January 9 at 1pm in St John’s Church, Lanesboro, interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. The Funeral Service will be streamed live, a link will be posted on Sunday.

The death occurred, suddenly, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 of Michael Gill, 3 Cartron Rd, Kenagh, Co Longford. He is predeceased by his parents Charlie and Bridget and infant brother Patrick. Michael will be forever missed by his heartbroken family, his beloved wife Mary, sons John, Alan, Kevin and Kieran, daughters Rinoa and Sara, mother-in-law Kathleen, brothers-in-law Gerard, Kieran and Martyn, sister-in-law Deirdre, nephews and nieces Shauna, Darragh, Tara, Darian, Oscar and Harvey, dear cousins, neighbour, good friends and his work colleagues.
