Longford auctioneer to feature on Cheap Irish Homes show

LONGFORD auctioneer John Columb is set to feature on the popular RTÉ series, Cheap Irish Homes.

John will offer his expertise regarding a rural property located at Legga, Moyne (N39 V6W3.)

The episode will air on RTÉ One on Tuesday, October 27 at 7pm.

“It was a good buzz, that back lane that Friday morning was like Grafton Street.”

The Granard man noted that the 95 m² cottage has “the most wonderful view from the back of the property, looking over Co Leitrim and over towards the west.

“There's mountains in Sligo that can be seen from there, great view of Longford. It's a real high site, mighty view. That's what sold it before. This is my second time to sell it, and the view is the big plus. Plus the fact no one's lived there over three years, so it does qualify for the €70,000 refurbishment grant.”
