Alex Sheridan, a second year student at St Mel’s College, Longford town, earned much acclaim following his St Patrick’s Day performance of 'O mio babbino caro' in St Mel’s Cathedral.
Alex recently won the ‘Stonepark4Talent’ event in the Longford Arms Hotel and his magical rendition this morning before the 11.30am Mass, which was broadcast to the world via the St Mel’s Cathedral webcam, blew people away.
Bishop Francis Duffy was the main celebrant. You can enjoy Alex’s performance in the accompanying video.
