Longford #LE24 latest - final 3 candidates returned in Longford as SF candidate is eliminated

The seven seats have now been filled with Sinn Fein's James Donnelly losing out after the 14th count

All the seats have now been filled after candidates Niall Gannon (FG) and Uruema Adejinni and Kevin Hussey (both Fianna Fáil) were elected on Monday afternoon. 

They join Seamus Butler, Gerry Hagan, Martin Monaghan and Peggy Nolan.

Sinn Féin's James Donnelly was eliminated shortly after 4pm on Monday afternoon.  

The distribution of second preferences from Sadia Arthar saw the final seats in the Longford Municipal District filled, after the 14th count. 

This sees a split of four Fianna Fáil and 3 Fine Gael in the Longford Municipal District area.
