VIDEO: Frightful fun at Longford Dead of Night festival

There's great excitement this evening in Longford town as the annual Dead of Night festival gets underway.

The event was kick-started by a colourful parade, which saw characters including Elsa, Spiderman and Superman, as well as local ghouls and ghosts, make their way from St Mel's College up to the Market Square.

On the Market Square, the fun will continue until 9pm, with music, fun, games, stalls and activities for all ages to enjoy.

For more on the Dead of Night festival, and Longford's other Hallowe'en offerings, see this Wednesday's Longford Leader.
