Our Spring federation meeting was held on Tuesday, February 17 and a lovely evening was had by all. The evening began with a delicious supper served by the ladies from the Town guild and we thank them for this. The meeting continued with all business being dealt with swiftly. The competitions were held and the standard of entries were exceptional as always, such talent within the guilds, thanks to all who entered and unfortunately we can only have one winner in each section.

Art winner was Angela McKeon with her Springtime poem, Craft winner was Brid Sweeney with her spring door wreath and Produce winner was Viriginia Quigley with her white griddle bread, congratulations ladies, photos of the winners can be found on our facebook page.Plans are afoot for our float in the St Patrick's Day parade, we will be looking for volunteers to help put this together and I'm sure we will have plenty of offers of help.
