Don’t miss the ‘All Girls Trivia Night’ on Thursday, September 4 at 9pm in Take Two, Longford
‘The Well Woman Project’ in Longford is hosting an ‘All Girls Trivia Night’ on Thursday, September 4 at 9pm in Take Two, Longford, in conjunction with the Longford Night Time Economy.
Tickets are €10 per person, with teams of up to six, and there will be cash prizes on the night.
Charlotte Stewart, co-founder and chairperson of The Well Woman Project, outlined, “We’re encouraging women to grab their mothers, sisters, aunties, nieces, friends and colleagues and come along for what promises to be a fun night of trivia, laughs and female friendship.”
The Well Woman Project is a women-led community group based in Longford and it was founded earlier this year by six local women with a shared vision of creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for women.
Charlotte explained, “Our aim is to bring women together through events and initiatives focused on wellbeing, mental health, confidence, connection and community.”
The Well Woman Project held their Well ‘Fayre’ Fundraiser in Lus na Gréine, Granard on Saturday, August 22.
Charlotte said it was a wonderful day bringing women together for a full programme of wellness activities, including Pilates, yoga, dance, breathwork, talks, holistic therapies, beauty treatments, tarot readings, stalls and a raffle.
She added, “We were absolutely blown away by the support we received from local businesses, suppliers, sponsors, instructors, therapists and members of the community who gave their time, services and donations to help make the day possible.
“We want to thank everyone who purchased a ticket, donated, bought raffle tickets or simply came along and supported us. As a small community group, we genuinely could not do what we do without the support of local people and businesses.”
And don’t forget, the next event for ‘The Well Woman Project’ in Longford is the ‘All Girls Trivia Night’ on Thursday, September 4 at 9pm in Take Two, Longford.
