Longford high jumper Nelvin Appiah secures third place at European Games in Minsk

Longford's Nelvin Appiah in action in Minsk

Longford's Nelvin Appiah, representing Team Ireland, finished third with a best jump of 2.0m in the Men's High Jump at the 2nd European Games in Minsk today.

Meanwhile, former Olympian, Longford's Derek Burnett finished 31st in the Shotgun Trap competition in Minsk today.
