Longford horse trainer Paul Flynn kept things ticking along nicely with another win on his latest visit to Dundalk courtesy of The Real Screamer in the nightcap there last Wednesday.

Well backed into 2-1 second favourite, this fella bolted up by three lengths under James Ryan who was enjoying a double on the night.

A couple of nights later, the in-form Flynn made it four wins from as many visits to the track when Moyassr collected in the mile handicap. Veteran jockey Seamie Heffernan was in the saddle, his first winner of 2026.

Moyassr obliged as the 100-30 favourite by three-parts of a length.

“That’s my first winner of 2026. I had my first winner at this track on the grass back in 1988,” the rider reflected on Racing TV.

“Paul does very well and I am glad he pointed the finger at me for this horse. He is only maturing now as a five-year-old, this lad. There could be more to come with him.”
