Busy bank holiday weekend for Longford Phoenix Basketball Club teams
Senior teams: Our men's team were in action away to Portarlington Kestrels on Friday night in the Midlands League and were beaten by 82 points to 45.
Our Women's team travelled to Castlerea on Saturday night for their third successive away game and came away with a very impressive fifty-four points to thirty-eight points victory.

Under 16: Our Boys team lost at home to Portlaoise seconds going down by just five points, with the visitors coming out on top by fifty-one points to forty-six.

Under 14: Our boys were well beaten at home to Portlaoise on Saturday and on Sunday they were defeated on the road by twenty-eight points against the Portarlington Kestrels.
Our girls team went down at home to the Kestrels by twenty-seven points to fifteen.
