Paul Flynn landed his first two-year-old success in almost 13 years as he saddled back-to-back winners at Dundalk on Thursday afternoon.
The Colehill trainer won the six-furlong auction series fillies’ maiden with the Dylan Browne McMonagle-ridden 12/1 shot Ms Willpower which ran out the cosiest of winners as she beat the Paddy Twomey-trained 2/7 favourite Dazzling Angel by three and three-parts of a length.
She was Flynn’s first juvenile winner since the Johnny Murtagh-ridden Mr Red Clubs scored over seven furlongs at the same racecourse in November 2011.

The trainer’s double was completed at the Robert Whearty-ridden Little Queenie scored a comfortable win of her own in the handicap over the same distance.
A strong 13/8 favourite, she led early in the straight and was well on top in beating the John Kinsella-trained Moltophino by a length and a half with the Johnny Murtagh-trained Final Voyage the same margin away in third place.
Flynn was also among the winners at Tramore on Saturday evening where Nostra Casa took the first of the two-mile handicaps on the card.

Leigh Roche was in the saddle and two and a quarter lengths was the winning margin as the Tell Me Your Business Syndicate-owned 11/1 shot scored readily from The Banger Doyle which was ridden for local trainer John Queally by Rachael Blackmore.
