The countdown to the start of the 2022 Airtricity League campaign continues with Longford Town playing another pre-season friendly at Bishopsgate on Saturday, kick-off 2pm.
Providing the opposition are Finn Harps in another useful exercise in preparation for the opening First Division game at home to Cobh Ramblers on Saturday night week, February 19.
The new Longford Town manager Gary Cronin will have a better idea as to his strongest team and another couple of pre-season friendly fixtures were played last week, resulting in a 1-1 draw against Bohemians in the midweek match at Abbotstown and the 2-1 defeat against UCD at Belfield on Saturday last.
