laois community auction

Fundraising auction in Cullohill.

St Johns Community Centre Lecarrow and committee will host their annual monster auction on Sunday April 14, from 2pm.

Following on from the success of previous events, this year’s showpiece is sure to be bigger and better than before. Donations are being sought for the auction and all items are welcome.

Goods in saleable condition are welcome and can be either new or second hand condition. Items welcome include working electrical equipment, furniture, services, livestock, vouchers, fuel, bric-abrac, unwanted gifts or cash donations.

The auction will be conducted in the same format as previous events, with pre-viewing on the morning of the auction from about 12 pm. All lots must sell on the day and will be sold without reserve. Food and refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.

People wishing to bid at the auction must purchase a bidding number which will cost €3 and is available upon entry to the hall.

Organisers are predicting a huge auction, same as last year, with a predicted 350-400 lots. If you have not already donated or would like to arrange collection of items for the event, please arrange to have them left to the community centre no later than 10 pm on Thursday, April 11.

To arrange a collection please contact committee members David (086) 8952283, Colin (086) 3694795, Owen (087) 6688274 or Arnold on (087) 6269443.
