Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu kept a clean sheet in Southampton's 2-0 home victory over Manchester City in the EFL Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Saints last summer, has been the number one at Saint Mary's since his arrival.
The ex-Shamrock Rovers shot-stopper, who has won 13 caps for the Boys in Green, was solid in net against his former club City as Sékou Mara and Moussa Djenepo scored for Southampton to send them through to the semi-final.
Southampton will now face Newcastle in the last four of the EFL Cup while Manchester United take on Nottingham Forest.
