RTÉ has revealed the nominees for the 2023 RTÉ Sport Awards which will be broadcast live on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player at 9.30pm on Saturday December 16.

Hosted by Joanne Cantwell and Darragh Maloney the awards will acknowledge the achievements of some of the best in Irish sport in the RTÉ Sport Young Sportsperson of the Year, RTÉ Sport Team of the Year, RTÉ Sport Manager of the Year and RTÉ Sport Sportsperson of the Year as well as inducting one Irish sportsperson to the RTÉ Hall of Fame. 

The nominees for the 2023 RTÉ Sport Awards are:

- Cork Camogie 

-Dublin Gaelic Football 

- Dublin Ladies’ Football 

- Irish Rowing 

- Irish Rugby 

- Limerick Hurling 

- Munster Rugby 

- Paralympic Cyclists, Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly 

- Shamrock Rovers 

RTÉ Sport Manager of the Year 

- Head Coach of Ireland Rugby, Andy Farrell 

- Dublin Football Manager, Dessie Farrell 

- Limerick Hurling Manager, John Kiely 

- Shamrock Rovers Manager, Stephen Bradley

The 2023 inductee to the RTÉ Sport Hall of Fame will be announced during the live programme on Saturday night. An independent panel of expert judges from across the Irish sporting media and performance world will select the winners in each category.
