The Alzheimer Society of Ireland (ASI) are marking the 30th anniversary of Alzheimer’s Tea Day, and they are calling on the people of Longford to raise a cup of kindness and help make a difference to those living with dementia, along with their families and carers, on Thursday, May 2.
The Longford branch of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland hold their annual Tea Day in their office on 2 Earl Street, Longford, from 11.00am to 2.00pm.
People across the county are invited to put on the kettle and make a real difference for the 30th anniversary Tea Day.
ASI are encouraging as many people as possible to take part: “With just one simple act you can help bring care and comfort into the lives of people living with dementia.
On 2nd May, you can join the party and host your own special anniversary Tea Day to provide essential life-changing services for those living with dementia,” they said.
The public are invited to sign up, invite friends, family, and work colleagues, and make this the biggest and best Tea Day ever, or just drop in to The Longford branch of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland on 2 Earl Street, Longford, from 11.00am to 2.00pm.
