A young man remains in a critical condition in Beaumont Hospital following a road traffic collision in the early hours of Saturday morning, April 20, 2024.
A statement from the Garda Press Office said Gardaí were alerted to a road traffic collision in Aughnacliff, County Longford on Saturday morning.
The single vehicle collision occurred on the L1049 in the townland of Culray.
The statement says: “The driver of the car, a man aged in his teens, was seriously injured during the collision. He remains in a critical condition at Beaumont Hospital.
An examination of the scene was completed on Saturday by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Investigations are ongoing at this time.”
