A 16-year-old Irish boy who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been located "safe and well", gardaí have confirmed.
Gavin Brewster - described as being 5 feet 2 inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes - was reported missing from Kildalkey, Co. Meath, since Sunday, August 17, 2025.
When last seen, Gavin was wearing a black Montreal jacket, black trousers and black Asics trainers. It was also believed that Gavin may have travelled to Dublin.
"Gardaí would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
