Gardaí are hoping to reunite a valuable Rolex watch with its rightful owner after it was found on the street over the weekend.
The luxury timepiece - a Rolex Sea-Dweller, known for its distinctive deep-sea diving capabilities - was discovered in Killarney town on Saturday afternoon before a good Samaritan turned it in at Killarney Garda Station.
Gardaí are now appealing to the public to help locate the owner, stressing that proof of ownership will be required to claim the luxury item.
A post on the An Garda Síochána Kerry Facebook page said: "Gents watch found in Killarney town yesterday afternoon and handed into Killarney Garda Station.
"Property can be claimed at the Garda Station," they noted before adding: "Proof of ownership is required."
Anyone who believes the watch belongs to them or knows the owner of the watch is encouraged to contact Killarney Garda Station.
