Two men to appear in court in connection with Cork murder

Two men are to appear in court this Tuesday in connection with the murder of 47-year-old, Kieran Quilligan.

A man aged in his 20s and another aged in his 30s, arrested and detained in recent days as part of this investigation, are expected before Cork District Court at Anglesea Street Courthouse.

Mr Quilligan was reported missing from his home in Cork City on Friday, September 1, 2023.

His remains were found in Rostellan, Cork, this Monday and a post-mortem examination then formally identified him.

Gardaí in Cork continue to investigate all the circumstances surrounding Mr Quilligan's murder.
