Chinese premier met with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and President Michael D. Higgins on state visit

Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, met both Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and President Michael D. Higgins on Wednesday during his two-day State visit to Ireland.

Uachtarán na hÉireann, President Higgins received Mr Li on a courtesy call at Áras an Uachtaráin on Wednesday morning.

China's second most powerful man after President Xi Jinping, Mr Li later met with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at Farmleigh House in Dublin.
