Irish businesses have been encouraged to assess their business models in 2023 and put additional focus on sustainability and reduction in emissions where possible.

To support businesses on their sustainability journey, the Climate Ready Academy, a partnership between Skillnet Ireland and 20FIFTY Partners, is hosting a free masterclass with global sustainability expert Owen Gaffney, which will address how business can positively impact the environment and sustainability targets, while maintaining growth.

The free online Masterclass, “A New Business Model: How leading European companies are transforming their business models to drive growth and drive down their impact on climate and nature”, will be hosted by broadcaster Anton Savage and will take place on Thursday, March 23 at 1pm.

The one-hour session is open to all businesses, organisations and industries from across the country, regardless of size or sector.

The Masterclass will deliver insights from Owen Gaffney, Chief Impact Officer at Nobel Prize Outreach and co-founder of Exponential Roadmap Initiative and CEO of Planetary Stewardship Consultancy. Owen will be on hand to give Irish businesses top tips on best practices to transform their business.

The Climate Ready Academy Masterclass on sustainable business models will take place virtually via Zoom on Thursday, March 23 from 1pm to 2pm. Those wishing to attend the free event, can register via: https://www.climateready academy.ie/masterclasses/
