Longford Women’s Link (LWL) held their annual International Women’s Day (IWD) event last Friday.
It was the first external event held since pre-Covid in 2020. There was a great turnout and insightful talks were given by special guest speakers Síona Cahill, Kinda Nassli, Ella Shmyozska and Swetha Shashikumar.
The theme for Longford Women’s Link’s IWD event this year was “Welcoming” and “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”.
The title of the event was “WELCOME DigitALL”, celebrating LWL’s contributions and achievements in this field, their encouragement of female digital entrepreneurship and their involvement at European level on the DELSA project.
LWL thanks all who attended and the generous local businesses who provided raffle prizes.
