Brilliant costumes and wonderful Halloween spirit at Longford school
Longford Home of Halloween: A day to remember, full of fun, fright and festive cheer at Gaelscoil Longfoirt
The pupils of Gaelscoil Longfoirt were certainly getting into the spirit of Halloween and Samhain as they arrived at school dressed in a fantastic array of colourful and creative costumes!
From spooky witches and scary skeletons to superheroes, ghosts and all sorts of imaginative characters, the Longford children brought plenty of fun, excitement and Halloween magic to the school.
Their wonderful costumes filled the day with colour, laughter and smiles, creating a fantastic atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
As the pupils celebrated, they also embraced the Irish tradition of Samhain, which marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter.
With its roots deeply embedded in Irish culture and folklore, Samhain is a special time for sharing stories, celebrating traditions and enjoying a little spooky fun.
Well done to all the children of Gaelscoil Longfoirt for their brilliant costumes and wonderful Halloween spirit.
They certainly made it a day to remember, full of fun, fright and festive cheer!
