Tiernan Dolan had revealed the total raised from the event during Christmas
Longford's GOAL Mile, which took place on Christmas Day, 2025, reached a total of €3,838. Tiernan Dolan reached out in January to tell the 'Longford Leader' of this positive outcome. He said that every cent raised will make a considerable difference to the most vulnerable in the developing world where GOAL works.

“A sincere thank you to all who supported the 2025 event,” he added.
He went on to thank the media for covering it, Shelley Corcoran, members of the Gardai, visitors from Holland, France, Canada, Sweden and members of the local Polish and Ukrainian communities.
“The local support is genuinely amazing and has never faltered over the 31 years.

“The next GOAL Mile will be as usual on Christmas Day, 12 noon, Connolly Barracks.”
